Vivekananda House
Named for the monk who first carried Hindu philosophy to the West, Vivekananda House is a residential Hindu Student Center — a place for prayer, cultural events, and community, now established on six university campuses across the country.

Our Vision
To create a Hindu Students Center on all major campuses in the United States that will become a central place for Hindu Spiritual Guidance, Hindu Activism, and service-oriented activities on campus and beyond.
Our Mission
To provide opportunities for Hindu students to practice Hindu culture, engage in Sewa (selfless-service), connect with global and national Hindu issues, and serve as a backbone supporting local Hindu YUVA chapters.
The House Concept
Modeled after traditional cultural and religious houses on U.S. campuses, each Vivekananda House functions as a physical facility split by utility:
- 2nd Floor: A comfortable residential facility accommodating 4 to 5 students.
- 1st Floor: Dedicated community spaces containing a library, meditation room, music room, puja room, open kitchen, and study spaces.
A venue for Dharmic activities including Yoga, Pranayama, chanting, and cultural lectures.
Campus Impact
Establishing a permanent home builds long-term continuity that transient student clubs often lack, ensuring several core impacts:
- •Serves as a reliable, go-to place for the Hindu student community for collective representation and addressing social issues.
- •Creates a soft strength and visible institutional support network for both students and families alike.
- •Provides physical facility resources and venue leasing space to other like-minded organizations to run workshops.
